Synopsis...GREATER FARALLONES...AND CORDELL BANK NATIONAL MARINE SANCTUARIES...

HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE EASTERN PACIFIC WILL MAINTAIN A STRONG SURFACE PRESSURE GRADIENT ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS. STRONG NORTHERLY WINDS EXPECTED THROUGH MUCH OF THE WEEK WITH THE STRONGEST WINDS ANTICIPATED OVER THE OFFSHORE WATERS AND ALONG THE BIG SUR COAST. THE STRONG WINDS WILL PRODUCE A FRESH SWELL.

Overnight: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming SSE around 6 kt. Cloudy.

Friday: SE wind 6 to 11 kt increasing to 13 to 18 kt in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 27 kt. Showers.

Friday Night: SE wind 9 to 16 kt. Showers.

Saturday: ESE wind around 9 kt becoming NNE in the afternoon. Showers likely.

Saturday Night: NNE wind 5 to 9 kt becoming variable and less than 5 kt after midnight. Partly cloudy.

Sunday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming W 5 to 9 kt in the morning. Mostly sunny.

Sunday Night: W wind 5 to 9 kt becoming variable and less than 5 kt after midnight. Mostly clear.

Monday: Variable winds less than 5 kt becoming W 5 to 8 kt in the morning. Sunny.

Monday Night: WSW wind 5 to 8 kt becoming variable and less than 5 kt after midnight. Mostly clear.
