A strong cold front will bring heavy wet snow from the eastern Great Lakes into northern New England and strong thunderstorms with damaging winds in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Well below average temperatures will continue behind this storm system or east of the Rockies, as numerous record low temperatures are likely. Critical fire weather conditions expected in the Southwest and Southeast.
