Heavy Rain and Flash Flood Threats with Nicholas
Tropical Storm Nicholas is expected to slowly move northeastward through southeastern Texas today. Heavy torrential rainfall is expected on the eastern half of Nicholas from extreme southeastern Texas into Louisiana and southern Mississippi and will likely result in areas of life-threatening flash and urban flooding. Also, the outer rain bands of Nicholas may produce a tornado or two.
