Detailed Forecast

Synopsis: A low continues to meander over the Alaskan Peninsula as its associated fronts move into the Western Gulf today. This low is expected to track north towards Prince William Sound which will bring an increase in westerly winds within the central Gulf and down near the southern Panhandle, from Cape Decision towards Dixon Entrance. High pressure again dominates the Gulf by Saturday morning, causing winds to become more northwesterly, with another increase in speed within the Dixon Entrance region.
