Synopsis: Winds increase to near gale force along our coast and inner
channels Tuesday into Wednesday. A stronger system moves into
the region Wednesday night, bringing gale force winds and near
35 ft seas to our coast west of Prince of Wales.
This Afternoon
S wind around 20 kt. A chance of showers. Seas around 5 ft.
Tonight
S wind 20 to 25 kt, with gusts as high as 35 kt. Rain. Seas 6 ft building to 9 ft.
Wednesday
WSW wind 5 to 10 kt becoming ESE in the afternoon. Mostly cloudy. Seas 8 ft subsiding to 5 ft.
Wednesday Night
E wind 10 to 20 kt becoming SSE 30 to 40 kt. Winds could gust as high as 50 kt. Rain. Seas 5 ft building to 9 ft.
Thursday
S wind 40 to 45 kt decreasing to 30 to 35 kt in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 55 kt. Rain. Seas 14 ft building to 17 ft.
