Swath of Showers in Central U.S.; Sam Producing Dangerous Surf; Powerful Alaska Storm
A slow moving cold front will produce locally heavy showers and thunderstorms from the Gulf Coast to the Great Lakes. Isolated severe storms will be possible across northwestern Missouri, eastern Oklahoma, and southern Missouri. Dangerous surf from well offshore hurricane Sam can be expected on the East Coast and Puerto Rico. Alaska storm is bringing high wind, heavy rain, and interior snow.
