.Synopsis for Stonington ME to Merrimack River MA out to 25 NM.
Onshore flow dominates today as an area of low pressure approaches
from the west, crossing this afternoon and evening with rain showers.
High pressure briefly crosses behind this system early Friday with
light and variable flow over the waters. Winds turn southeasterly
during the day Friday, and then southerly through Saturday as high
pressure settles south and east of the Gulf of Maine. This pattern is
likely to produce fog over the waters at times this weekend until
the passage of a cold front early next week.
