Winter Storm System To Bring Widespread Impacts Across the Eastern Half of the U.S. Through Midweek

A developing winter storm system will bring a swath of heavy snow and ice from Oklahoma into the Midwest, Ohio Valley, Mid Atlantic, and the Northeast U.S. Tuesday through Wednesday. Areas of dangerous travel are likely. Further South, several inches of heavy rain will lead to the potential for flooding in the lower Mississippi and Tennessee River Valleys.
