Weekend Preview: Monsoon Flood Threat and Heat In A Few Locations
This weekend will be busy with a few weather hazards across the U.S. Increasing monsoonal moisture will result in heavy rain and thunderstorms with the potential for flash flooding and debris flows near vulnerable burn scars in the Southwest, Great Basin and parts of the Rockies. Also, summer heat with excessive warnings and advisories will persist in the South and return in the Northwest.
