Severe thunderstorms are expected across portions of the Plains today into tonight, some of these storms will be capable of heavy rainfall. Monsoonal moisture will continue across the Southwest where rainfall could produce debris flow, especially near recent burn scars. Meanwhile, heat concerns remain across the South and Southeast with rising temperatures expected across the Pacific Northwest.
