Fire Weather Concerns Persist Across the West; Below Normal Temperatures for the Midwest and East

As a cold front moves through the western states, gusty conditions will bring fire weather concerns through the weekend from the interior Northwest into the Great Basin and Rockies. Elsewhere, temperatures will run ten or more degrees below normal from the Upper Midwest into much of the eastern U.S. Tropical development may bring heavy rainfall to parts of the western Gulf Coast this weekend.
