Storms, Potentially, Significant in the Northern Tier; Fire Weather Threats in the West

An upper level system in the northwestern U.S. will produce another day of thunderstorms across the West and into the Central U.S. Primary threats will be damaging winds and large hail. Very large hail and significant winds will be possible from the Northern Rockies into the Northern Plains. Strong winds and dry thunderstorms keep fire weather threats elevated to critical in the Great Basin.
