Synopsis...HIGH PRESSURE EAST OF NEW ENGLAND WILL SLOWLY MOVE FURTHER OFFSHORE TODAY. A COLD FRONT APPROACHES FROM THE WEST TONIGHT AND CROSSES THE WATERS LATE TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT. HIGH PRESSURE BUILDS IN FROM THE WEST ON WEDNESDAY, THEN A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM TRACKS SOUTH OF LONG ISLAND THURSDAY INTO THURSDAY NIGHT. HIGH PRESSURE RETURNS ON FRIDAY.

Overnight: SSW wind around 7 kt. Showers likely. Seas around 3 ft.

Saturday: WSW wind 7 to 10 kt becoming W 11 to 14 kt in the morning. Showers before 11am. Seas around 3 ft.

Saturday Night: W wind 11 to 15 kt becoming NW in the evening. Mostly clear. Seas around 3 ft.

Sunday: NW wind 10 to 12 kt becoming WSW in the afternoon. Mostly sunny. Seas around 2 ft.
