Isaias to Bring Tropical Impacts Across to the East Coast

Isaias is forecast to make landfall tonight in the Carolinas with dangerous storm surge, flash flooding, damaging winds, and isolated tropical tornadoes. Isaias may strengthen briefly prior to landfall, but the impacts will be the same regardless of the categorical definition. Synopsis: A plethora of tropical moisture will move into the area today into Tuesday ahead of Tropical Storm Isaias. Tropical Storm conditions will be possible on Tuesday, with Isaias tracking northeast away from the waters Tuesday night. A stationary boundary will linger southeast of the waters through the second half of the week. Refer to the National Hurricane Center for the latest regarding the track of Isaias.
