A moderate period northwest swell tapers off by Sunday. Meanwhile, the King Tides are forecast for this weekend, which can influence portions of the Bay Shoreline during the mid-to-late morning hours. Winds remain mostly light through Saturday morning. As Saturday evening arrives, northwest winds will increase leading into early next week. These winds will help to generate wind- waves that will become more widespread along the coastline starting early next week. Any lingering swell will likely be dominated by wind-generated waves by mid-next week. $$
