The threat of flash flooding will continue to exist into Monday across the Southwest into the the central Rockies as monsoon conditions persist. Generally light to locally moderate west to northwest winds will prevail across the waters through mid-week. Locally breezy winds will persist over the far northern outer waters through Monday morning. Additionally, gusty afternoon and evening winds will funnel through the Golden Gate gap into the San Francisco Bay. Monsoonal moisture will advect northward into the waters Monday into Tuesday bringing a slight chance of high based thunderstorms to the area. Steep northwest waves continue to dominate the sea state at 7 to 9 seconds along with a light southerly swell. $$
