A frontal system will produce a line of severe thunderstorms with potential for damaging winds, hail, and locally heavy rain in the Central Appalachians. Isolated storms may develop in the High Plains, Upper Midwest, and northern Gulf Coast. Dangerous heat and critical fire weather threats will develop across the Southwest and Great Basin.
