Heavy Rain from Fred and the Western Monsoon Continues Wednesday

Post-Tropical Cyclone Fred will bring heavy rain which may lead to significant flash flooding, gusty winds and a few tornadoes as it tracks north from the upper Ohio Valley into New England Wednesday and Thursday. Monsoonal activity across portions of Arizona and Utah may cause flash and urban flooding impacts, especially in the vicinity of slot canyons, arroyos, and dry washes.
