Tropical Storm Near The Texas Coastline; Tropical Storm Warnings In Effect

Tropical Storm Imelda is near the TX coastline, just southwest of Galveston. Heavy rainfall of 5 to 10 inches w/ locally higher amounts of up to 15 inches can be expected, which may produce life-threatening flash flooding. Gusty winds, rough surf and rip currents will also be a concern. Hurricane Humberto will continue to produce dangerous rip currents/rough surf along the East Coast.
