HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE EASTERN PACIFIC WILL MAINTAIN A STRONG
SURFACE PRESSURE GRADIENT ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS. STRONG
NORTHERLY WINDS EXPECTED THROUGH MUCH OF THE WEEK WITH THE
STRONGEST WINDS ANTICIPATED OVER THE OFFSHORE WATERS AND ALONG
THE BIG SUR COAST. THE STRONG WINDS WILL PRODUCE A FRESH SWELL.
This Afternoon: NW wind 12 to 15 kt, with gusts as high as 22 kt. Partly sunny. WNW swell 6 ft at 14 seconds. Wind waves 1 to 2 ft.
Tonight: NW wind 11 to 16 kt becoming variable and less than 5 kt after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 23 kt. Increasing clouds. Mixed swell...WNW 8 ft at 14 seconds and ...becoming WNW 9 ft at 13 seconds . Wind waves 1 to 2 ft.
Friday: SSE wind 5 to 15 kt increasing to 19 to 29 kt in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 42 kt. Showers, mainly after 11am. Mixed swell...WNW 9 ft at 13 seconds and SSW 2 ft at 15 seconds. Wind waves 1 to 2 ft.
Friday Night: S wind 17 to 27 kt, with gusts as high as 38 kt. Showers. WNW swell 7 to 8 ft. Wind waves 2 ft building to 8 ft.
Saturday: S wind 18 to 23 kt becoming SE in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 31 kt. Showers before 11am, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 11am. W swell 10 ft. Wind waves 6 ft subsiding to 1 ft.
Saturday Night: SE wind 15 to 20 kt becoming ENE 8 to 13 kt after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 30 kt. A chance of showers before 11pm. Mixed swell...W 9 ft and S 1 ft. Wind waves 1 to 2 ft.
Sunday: NE wind 7 to 16 kt becoming WNW in the afternoon. Mostly sunny. Mixed swell...WNW 6 to 7 ft and S 1 ft. Wind waves around 2 ft.
Sunday Night: NW wind 6 to 16 kt becoming N after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 25 kt. Partly cloudy. Mixed swell...WNW 5 ft and S 1 ft. Wind waves 2 to 3 ft.
Monday: N wind 6 to 10 kt becoming WNW in the morning. Sunny. Mixed swell...WNW 4 ft and S 1 ft. Wind waves 2 to 3 ft.
