Strong Cold Front Continues Crossing the Central and Eastern States into the Weekend

A strong cold front continues to cross the central US reaching the East Coast on Sunday. Gusty winds and snow are expected for the Rockies, northern Plains, and Upper Midwest through Saturday. Severe thunderstorms are forecast late Saturday from east Texas into the Tennessee River Valley. Heavy rain is expected for the East Coast and high winds for coastal Long Island into New England late Sunday.
