Severe Storms and Heavy Rain in the Central U.S.

A storm system moving from the Plains to the Mississippi Valley today will trigger another round of severe thunderstorms and heavy rainfall. The corridor of activity appears likely from the Mid Mississippi Valley into the southern Plains, where an enhanced risk of severe weather and a slight risk for excessive rain are in effect. This whole system will push into the East on Friday.
