On Tuesday, critical fire weather conditions are forecast over the southern High Plains. Synopsis: A light to occasionally moderate east to southeast wind will continue through Thursday. Winds will likely shift southwesterly on Friday ahead of a cold front approaching from the northwest. This front will then likely move offshore and across the marine area Friday night, with a light to moderate offshore flow developing in its wake. A slight increase in winds and seas may develop by late week in association with the front.
