Zeta to Make Landfall Today; Heavy Rainfall and Flooding Possible Over Much of the Southeast and Mid Atlantic
Zeta will make landfall along the northern Gulf Coast today with life-threatening storm surge, damaging winds, and flooding. As Zeta's moisture moves northward, heavy rainfall will develop across much of the Southeast before advancing into the Appalachians, Ohio Valley, and Mid Atlantic tonight into Thursday. This rainfall will lead to flash, urban, small stream, and minor river flooding.
