Plenty of hazards are expected to impact the Northeastern U.S. from heavy snow, with significant accumulations expected, to high winds and coastal issues. Synopsis: Gale conditions will overspread the waters tonight as a low pressure system developing to the east of the local waters continues to strengthen while moving northeast as a cold front moves southeast across the waters. Winds are expected to gradually decrease late Saturday night and into Sunday as high pressure builds into the area. Another cold front will approach the waters from the west during the second half of the week.
