Detailed Forecast
Synopsis: Weak to moderate onshore flow expected today and tonight, in
response to surface low pressure over the Southern Plains.
Increasing moisture and the approach of a cold front will
contribute to isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms
Tuesday. The frontal boundary will push across the coastal
waters late Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning with a
moderate to strong northerly flow developing in its wake. This
will likely result in Small Craft Advisory conditions on
Wednesday, which may possibly linger through the early evening
hours offshore. Numerous showers and thunderstorms are possible
Tuesday night through Wednesday morning as the cold front pushes
south through the area. Rain chances are expected to end from
north to south through Wednesday. Winds will begin to decrease
Wednesday night, becoming weak by the end of the week.
