Detailed Forecast

Synopsis: Southerly winds persist over the next few days as high pressure ridges across the waters before a cold front pushes through the area toward mid week, followed by high pressure building over the waters from the north resulting in northeast to east winds during the latter half of the week. Overnight and early morning fog will be possible over the central and northern waters over the next few days followed by a chance of showers and a storm with the front and improving conditions in its wake. Winds remain 10-15 knots or less with seas generally 2 feet or less, except an occasional 2-3 feet in the immediate wake of the front as wind become northeasterly.
