A strong winter storm will continue to progress across the Great Basin and Rockies bringing heavy mountain snow, high winds, and near blizzard conditions that will cause dangerous travel conditions. Severe thunderstorms and heavy rain are possible late Tuesday through the night from parts of the mid-Mississippi Valley to the Ohio Valley and southern Lower Michigan.
