Synopsis: PHZ100-070230- 405 AM HST Mon Dec 6 2021 .Synopsis for Hawaiian coastal waters... A slow moving kona low west northwest of Kauai is producing a convergence band of heavy showers, isolated thunderstorms, and strong and gusty winds over the majority of the local waters today. The low will move westward over the next couple of days and the convergence band will gradually drift westward across much of the island chain through Tuesday. High pressure building northeast of the area will reinstate moderate to fresh trade winds. $$
