Moisture from the remnants of Lorena will contribute to heavy rain, strong to severe thunderstorms and possible flooding across the Southwest through Tuesday. Tropical Storm Watches are in effect for Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, as Tropical Storm Karen is forecast to approach on Tuesday. Elevated fire weather threats are expected for portions of California through Tuesday.
