Temperatures will tie or break many records across the Southeast through tonight. Moderate to heavy lake effect snow will continue downwind of the Great Lakes. Tuesday: Southwest wind 10 to 15 knots veering west late. Gusts up to 26 knots. Cloudy. A chance of snow showers through mid morning, then a slight chance of snow showers by late morning. A chance of rain showers possibly mixed with snow showers late. Waves building to 2 to 3 feet, then subsiding to 1 to 2 feet.

Tuesday Night: West wind 15 to 25 knots with gale force gusts up to 34 knots. Rain showers likely. Waves building to 2 to 3 feet.

Wednesday: Northwest wind 20 to 25 knots with gale force gusts up to 37 knots. Cloudy. A chance of rain showers possibly mixed with snow showers. Waves building to 2 to 4 feet, then subsiding to 2 to 3 feet.
