Tracking a Couple of Storm Systems Across the Country

Showers, along with a few strong to severe thunderstorms, are expected from the Great Lakes, New England and southward into the Ohio and Tennessee Valleys. Sunday: Northeast gales to 35 kt becoming northwest in the morning. Chance of rain and snow showers, mainly in the morning. slight chance of waterspouts in the morning. Waves 7 to 10 ft occasionally to 13 ft.

Sunday Night: Northwest gales to 35 kt becoming north. Snow showers likely in the evening, then snow showers and slight chance of thunderstorms overnight. Slight chance of waterspouts overnight. Waves building to 10 to 14 ft occasionally to 18 ft.

Monday: North winds to 30 kt becoming northwest 20 to 25 kt in the afternoon. Slight chance of waterspouts. Snow showers likely in the morning, then chance of snow and showers in the afternoon. Waves 10 to 14 ft occasionally to 18 ft subsiding to 6 to 9 ft occasionally to 12 ft.
