Two more cold fronts will pass through the Northwest U.S. this week with heavy mountain snow continuing across the Cascades, and northern Rockies. A quick moving storm system will bring mixed precipitation including some freezing rain across the Northeast U.S. today. Tonight: Southwest wind less than 10 knots. Mostly cloudy. Patchy dense fog through the night. Areas of dense freezing fog by midnight. Waves building to 1 to 2 feet.

Thursday: Southwest wind less than 10 knots backing south in the afternoon. Cloudy. Patchy fog in the morning. A slight chance of rain showers in the afternoon. Waves 1 to 2 feet.

Thursday Night: Northeast wind 5 to 15 knots backing north 10 to 15 knots after midnight. Gusts up to 22 knots. Rain showers in the evening, then rain showers possibly mixed with snow showers after midnight. Waves 1 to 2 feet.
