Seas 6 to 8 feet, occasionally to 10 feet, building to 8 to 11 feet, occasionally to 14 feet after midnight. Wave detail: southeast 11 feet at 10 seconds and east 10 feet at 7 seconds. A chance of thunderstorms this evening. Showers. A slight chance of thunderstorms late. Friday: Tropical storm conditions expected with hurricane conditions possible. Northeast winds 35 to 45 knots with gusts up to 55 knots. Seas 13 to 18 feet, occasionally to 23 feet, building to 18 to 23 feet, occasionally to 29 feet in the afternoon. Wave detail: east 23 feet at 11 seconds. Showers likely with a slight chance of thunderstorms early in the morning, then showers with a chance of thunderstorms in the late morning and afternoon.
