There is an enhanced risk of severe thunderstorms for portions of the Plains today. Severe wind gusts and damaging hail are the main threats. The remnants of Tropical Depression Chantal continue across the Mid-Atlantic. A Slight Risk of flash flooding is in effect for central Texas and the Mid-Atlantic.
