Synopsis: A low in the Chukchi Sea about 350 nm northwest of Utqiagvik will quickly move east today and to 300 nm north of Demarcation Point by tonight. A high in the Central NPAC will remain in place through the weekend. South- southwest winds continue from the Bering Sea through the Bering Strait through the weekend. Near gale- force wind gusts are possible for the entire area.
