...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY FOR HAZARDOUS SEAS IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM
THIS AFTERNOON TO 5 PM PDT MONDAY...

The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a Small Craft
Advisory for hazardous seas...which is in effect from 5 PM this
afternoon to 5 PM PDT Monday.

* Winds...North 20 to 24 kt decreasing below small craft advisory
  levels after 8 PM.

* Seas...Steep and choppy at 6 to 9 feet with a dominant period
  around 7 seconds through this afternoon. Seas are mainly short
  period fresh swell with some wind wave mixed in.

* Areas affected...Winds will affect a small portion south of
  Brookings between 10 and 12 nm. All areas will be affected by
  the choppy seas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory for hazardous seas means that waves will
be steep enough to create a potential hazard to smaller vessels
and inexperienced mariners.
