...GALE FORCE WINDS AND HAZARDOUS SEAS EXPECTED TONIGHT THROUGH
THURSDAY...

.A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL BRING STRONG SOUTH WINDS TO THE COASTAL
WATERS MAINLY FROM CAPE BLANCO NORTHWARD. THE REMAINDER OF THE
MARINE FORECAST AREA IS EXPECTED TO BE AFFECTED BY VERY STEEP
SEAS.

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MEDFORD HAS ISSUED A SMALL CRAFT
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 11 AM
PDT THURSDAY.

* WINDS...SOUTH WINDS INCREASING TO 20 TO 25 KT THIS EVENING THEN 25
  TO 30 KT TONIGHT. WINDS DIMINISH THURSDAY AFTERNOON BEFORE
  INCREASING AGAIN FRIDAY NIGHT.

* SEAS...BUILDING TO STEEP 7 TO 8 FT THIS EVENING THEN STEEP TO
  VERY STEEP 8 TO 10 FT TONIGHT...THEN BUILDING FURTHER TO 12 TO
  14 FT THURSDAY MORNING. HEAVY WEST SWELL WILL THEN BUILD
  THURSDAY AFTERNOON WITH COMBINED SEAS REACHING A PEAK 18 TO 21
  FEET THURSDAY NIGHT. SEAS ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN VERY HIGH AND
  VERY STEEP THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT.

* AREAS AFFECTED...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY CONDITIONS WILL AFFECT
  AREAS NEAR CAPE BLANCO THIS EVENING. WARNING LEVEL SEAS WILL
  IMPACT MOST AREAS FROM GOLD BEACH NORTHWARD TONIGHT WITH SMALL
  CRAFT ADVISORY CONDITIONS ELSEWHERE. WARNING LEVEL SEAS WILL
  IMPACT ALL AREAS THURSDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH FRIDAY.

REMAIN IN PORT, OR TAKE SHELTER UNTIL WAVES SUBSIDE.  COMMERCIAL
VESSELS SHOULD PREPARE FOR ROUGH SEAS AND CONSIDER REMAINING IN
PORT OR TAKING SHELTER IN PORT UNTIL HAZARDOUS SEAS SUBSIDE.

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WINDS AND SEAS WILL CREATE A
POTENTIAL HAZARD TO SMALLER VESSELS AND INEXPERIENCED MARINERS.
