...HAZARDOUS SEAS WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM TO 10 PM PST
   SATURDAY...

The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a Hazardous
Seas Warning...which is in effect from 4 AM to 10 PM PST
Saturday.

* Winds...North 20 to 25 knots gusting to 30 knots this evening.

* Seas...Choppy 10 to 12 feet this this evening...subsiding to 7
  to 8 feet Friday morning through Friday evening, but remaining
  choppy.  Seas will build beginning Friday night, up to 11 to
  15 feet Saturday evening.

* Areas affected...Hazardous seas warning tonight for beyond 10
  nm from shore north of Cape Blanco and beyond 5 nm from shore
  around Cape Blanco south.  Hazardous seas warning Saturday will
  affect areas from around Cape Blanco north. The remainder of the
  area will see small craft advisory seas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory for hazardous seas means that waves will
be steep enough to create a potential hazard to smaller vessels
and inexperienced mariners.

A Hazardous Seas Warning means very steep and hazardous sea
conditions are imminent or occurring. Recreational boaters should
remain in port, or take shelter until waves subside.  Commercial
vessels should prepare for rough seas and consider remaining in
port or taking shelter in port until hazardous seas subside.
