This hazardous weather outlook is for northern Lower Michigan...
eastern Upper Michigan...and adjacent nearshore waters of Lake
Michigan...Lake Huron and Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A period of lake enhanced snowfall will impact parts of eastern
upper Michigan today. Please see ongoing winter weather advisory
for details.

Sharp cold front will drop through the region tonight bringing a
surge of arctic air into the Great Lakes. This will lead to a
prolonged period of heavy lake effect snow showers for portions of
northwest lower Michigan tonight through Tuesday. Please see
ongoing winter storm warning for details.

Gale force wind gusts are expected on the Great Lakes tonight
through Tuesday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Periods of snow and lake effect snow will continue through the week.

Wind chills will drop well below zero in parts of northern Michigan
early this week...especially Tuesday night.
