This hazardous weather outlook is for northern Lower Michigan...
eastern Upper Michigan...and adjacent nearshore waters of Lake
Michigan...Lake Huron and Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Lake effect snow showers will continue to develop across portions
of northwest lower Michigan through the night, especially in and
around the Grand Traverse Bay region. This will lead to the
beginning of accumulating snowfall. Please see ongoing winter
weather advisories and warnings for further details.

Gale force wind gusts will continue on most of the nearshore
waters of the Great Lakes tonight through Tuesday.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.

Accumulating lake effect snow will continue across portions of
northwest lower Michigan through Tuesday night. Please see the
latest winter weather advisories and warnings for further details.

Additional periods of snow and lake effect snow will continue
through the week.

Wind chills will drop well below zero in parts of northern Michigan
early this week...especially Tuesday night.
