This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Central Lake
Superior...Eastern Lake Superior and Western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Thunderstorms are possible late tonight, mainly after midnight.

A few southeast gale force gusts to 35 knots are possible tonight
over eastern Lake Superior near the International Border.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Thunderstorms are possible Saturday into Saturday evening.

Northeast gales of 40 to 45 knots are possible Sunday into early
Monday morning across western Lake Superior. Easterly gales of 35
to 40 knots are possible across the rest of Lake Superior, except
for the far east, Sunday night into early Monday morning. See the

  Lake Superior from Upper Entrance to Portage Canal to Manitou
  Island MI 5NM off shore to the US/Canadian Border, Lake
  Superior West of Line from Manitou Island to Marquette MI
  Beyond 5NM from shore and Lake Superior East of a line from
  Manitou Island to Marquette MI and West of a line from Grand
  Marais MI to the US/Canadian Border Beyond 5NM from shore.

* WHEN...From Sunday evening through Monday morning.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds can cause hazardous waves which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should consider altering plans to avoid possible
hazardous conditions.  Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter
course, and/or secure the vessel for severe wind and waves.
