This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Nearshore
waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

A small craft advisory has been issued for the Nearshore Waters
of western Lake Superior, from Bayfield to Saxon Harbor, from 9 PM
this evening through 11 AM Saturday. Strong southerly winds will
create conditions hazardous to small craft during that time. See
the latest Marine Weather Message for detailed information.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

A Small Craft Advisory will remain in effect until 11 AM
Saturday. See the latest marine forecasts for detailed
information.

Scattered thunderstorms are expected Saturday afternoon and
evening. A few of the storms may be strong to severe with large
hail, frequent cloud-to-water lightning, and gusty winds possible.

A cool front is forecast to move southeastward across Lake
Superior late Monday night and Tuesday morning. Winds will veer
northerly behind the front and wind speeds will increase. The
combination of wind and resultant waves may create hazardous
conditions for smaller vessels late Monday night through Tuesday
afternoon.
