This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the New York waters of Lake
Erie, Lake Ontario, and the Saint Lawrence River.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

The chance of widespread hazardous weather is low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Scattered thunderstorms will develop from mid afternoon through mid
evening Friday along and ahead of an advancing strong cold front.
Some of these storms may contain locally strong winds and higher
waves.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be required late Friday.

...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 AM FRIDAY TO 2 PM EDT
SATURDAY...

The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a Small Craft
Advisory, which is in effect from 6 AM Friday to 2 PM EDT
Saturday.

* WINDS...Southwest 15 to 25 knots Friday, west to 30 knots
  Friday night, northwest 15 to 25 knots Saturday morning.

* WAVES...2 to 4 feet Friday, 7 to 10 feet Friday night, and 4 to
  7 feet Saturday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 18 to 33 knots
and/or waves averaging 4 feet or more are expected to produce
hazardous wave conditions to small craft. Inexperienced
mariners...especially those operating smaller vessels...should
avoid navigating in these conditions.
