...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM EST THURSDAY...

* WINDS...East winds 15 to 30 knots through early evening,
  becoming north tonight. Winds becoming northwest and decreasing
  to 10 to 15 knots Thursday.

* WAVES...3 to 5 feet, subsiding to 2 to 4 feet Thursday.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that winds or waves are expected to
produce hazardous conditions to small craft. Inexperienced
mariners...especially those operating smaller vessels should
avoid navigating in these conditions.

This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of southwest Lower
Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Conditions hazardous to smaller craft are expected from today into
tonight as low pressure moves through the region. Waves of 3 to 5
feet are expected in the nearshore waters with larger waves off
shore.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Waves will become large once again on Friday as winds increase
out of the west.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
