This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the open waters of Lake Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms will occur at times tonight
over Lake Michigan. There is a marginal risk of severe
thunderstorms, mainly north of a Milwaukee to Muskegon line,
during this time. Gusty winds and hail are the main hazards.

A Gale Warning is in effect starting later this evening for the
north half of Lake Michigan, for strong south to southwest winds.
High waves are expected to develop. A few gale force gusts will be
possible over the south half of the lake.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Thursday

The Gale Warning remains in effect into Friday for the north half
of Lake Michigan, as strong winds veer to the west and northwest.
High waves are expected to continue. A few gale force gusts will be
possible over the south half of the lake.
