A Small Craft Advisory lingers into the middle morning hours on
Tuesday. A Gale Watch then goes into effect from the middle
morning hours on Tuesday into much of Tuesday night.

Winds may reach Small Craft Advisory levels at times from
Thursday night into Sunday.

TO 9 AM CDT TUESDAY. A GALE WATCH HAS ALSO BEEN ISSUED. THIS GALE
WATCH IS IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY MORNING THROUGH LATE TUESDAY
NIGHT.

* WINDS: NORTHWEST INCREASING TO 15 TO 25 KNOTS AFTER MIDNIGHT
  TONIGHT...THEN INCREASING TO 30 KNOTS WITH POSSIBLE GALE GUSTS
  TO 35 KNOTS TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT.

* WAVES: INCREASING TO 2 TO 3 FEET TONIGHT AND 3 TO 5 FEET TUESDAY
  AND TUESDAY NIGHT BUT HIGHER TOWARDS OPEN WATERS.



PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY MEANS THAT WIND SPEEDS OF 21 TO 33 KNOTS
ARE EXPECTED TO PRODUCE HAZARDOUS WAVE CONDITIONS TO SMALL CRAFT.
INEXPERIENCED MARINERS...ESPECIALLY THOSE OPERATING SMALLER
VESSELS SHOULD AVOID NAVIGATING IN THESE CONDITIONS.

A GALE WATCH IS ISSUED WHEN THE RISK OF GALE FORCE WINDS OF 34 TO
47 KNOTS HAS SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASED...BUT THE SPECIFIC TIMING
AND/OR LOCATION IS STILL UNCERTAIN. IT IS INTENDED TO PROVIDE
ADDITIONAL LEAD TIME FOR MARINERS WHO MAY WISH TO CONSIDER
