This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Michigan.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

A Small Craft Advisory is in effect at 6 PM for gusty east to
southeast winds and high waves. A Gale Warning then goes into
effect at 3 AM for westerly gale force gusts.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Saturday

A Gale Warning is in effect Sunday for continued westerly gale
force gusts.

Winds and waves may reach Small Craft Advisory levels Wednesday
night into Friday, as another low pressure system moves through
the region.

...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CST SUNDAY...
...GALE WARNING NOW IN EFFECT FROM 3 AM TO 6 PM CST SUNDAY...

The Gale Warning is now in effect from 3 AM to 6 PM CST Sunday.
The Small Craft Advisory is now in effect until 3 AM CST Sunday.

* WINDS: Easterly 15 to 20 knots with gusts to 30 knots this
  evening, then becoming southeasterly 15 to 20 knots with gusts
  to 30 knots around midnight.

Winds then become westerly 25 to 30 knots gusting to gales of 35
to 40 knots early Sunday morning. Gale force gusts continue into
Sunday afternoon.

* WAVES: 3 to 5 feet early this evening building to 5 to 9 feet
  late evening to around midnight. Some waves to around 10 feet
  expected north of Port Washington late tonight. Waves then
  diminish to 2 to 4 feet Sunday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Gale Warning means winds of 34 to 47 knots are imminent or
occuring. Operating a vessel in gale conditions requires
experience and properly equipped vessels. It is highly
recommended that mariners without the proper experience seek safe
harbor prior to the onset of gale conditions.

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 21 to 33 knots
are expected to produce hazardous wave conditions to small craft.
Inexperienced mariners...especially those operating smaller
vessels should avoid navigating in these conditions.
