...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 PM CDT FOR
BALDWIN AND WESTERN ESCAMBIA COUNTIES...

At 623 PM CDT, the public and fire rescue has reported flash
flooding in portions of central Baldwin County, particularly
in and around the Loxley area. Additional heavy rain will continue
to move across Baldwin County into Escambia County Florida over the
next hour, ending from west to east. This additional rain will
likely result in additional flash flooding where it is already
occurring and new instances of flash flooding further south in
Baldwin County and east into Escambia County Florida.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Daphne, Fairhope, Gulf Shores, Bay Minette, Foley, Orange Beach,
Spanish Fort, Robertsdale, Point Clear, Loxley, Lillian, Magnolia
Springs, Stapleton, Bon Secour, Summerdale, Silverhill, Perdido
Beach, Elberta, Bratt and Fort Morgan.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flash Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring.
If you are in the warned area move to higher ground immediately.
Residents living along streams and creeks should take immediate
precautions to protect life and property.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the coastal
waters of Alabama and northwest Florida.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Hazardous wind and wave conditions for small craft can be
expected through tonight.

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms can be
expected through tonight. A few strong to severe thunderstorms
will be possible. Gusty straight line winds, periods of very
heavy rain and a few isolated waterspouts will be possible
through tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Hazardous wind and wave conditions for small craft can be
expected Monday through midweek in the wake of a cold front that
moves across the marine area early Monday.
