This hazardous weather outlook is for the Middle Texas
Coastal Waters.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A Small Craft Advisory is in effect for most of the gulf waters
today, and for all of the gulf waters tonight, mainly due to
elevated wave heights.

Scattered to numerous tropical showers and thunderstorms will
produce gusty winds, reduced visibility and possibly rough and
confused seas at times.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Numerous thunderstorms are expected Tuesday through Wednesday.  The
areal coverage of thunderstorm activity will gradually decrease
Thursday through Saturday.

A Small Craft Advisory is in effect through Tuesday afternoon.
Additional Small Craft Advisories may be needed for Tuesday night
and Wednesday.

TUESDAY MORNING...

.Increasing winds and seas due to a tropical wave will bring Small
Craft Advisory conditions to the gulf waters today through
Tuesday. Small Craft Advisory conditions, mainly due to elevated
wave heights, will continue over the offshore gulf waters today
and eventually develop over the nearshore waters from north to
south by this evening.

...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM CDT TUESDAY...

A Small Craft Advisory is now in effect for the offshore gulf
waters Baffin bay to Matagorda Ship Channel from 20 to
60 NM offshore through Tuesday afternoon.

* WINDS...Southeast increasing to 15 to 20 knots later today and
  continuing through Tuesday.

* WAVES/SEAS...5 to 7 feet tonight building to 7 to 8 feet Monday
  night...occasionally up to 10 feet.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 20 to 33 knots
and/or seas of 7 feet or greater are expected to produce
hazardous conditions to small craft. Inexperienced mariners...
especially those operating smaller vessels should avoid
navigating in these conditions. Mariners should pay close
attention to the marine forecast...and consider wind and sea
conditions in planning.
