This hazardous weather outlook is for the Middle Texas
Coastal Waters.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Small Craft Advisory conditions are expected for the Gulf waters
through this afternoon.

Thunderstorms today will produce heavy rainfall reducing
visibility, with thunderstorm chances decreasing in the afternoon
but returning overnight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Numerous to widespread thunderstorms with locally heavy rainfall
will persist through Wednesday. The areal coverage of thunderstorm
activity will gradually decrease Wednesday afternoon through the end
of the week.

Spotter activation is not anticipated.

.Increased winds and seas due to a tropical wave are resulting in
Small Craft Advisory conditions over the Gulf waters. Conditions
will remain elevated through Tuesday afternoon for both the
nearshore and offshore waters.

...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 PM CDT THIS
AFTERNOON...

* WINDS...Southeast around 15 knots with gusts up to 20 knots.

* WAVES/SEAS...5 to 7 feet...occasionally up to 8 feet early this
  morning, decreasing to 6 feet or less by this afternoon.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 20 to 33 knots
and/or seas of 7 feet or greater are expected to produce
hazardous conditions to small craft. Inexperienced mariners...
especially those operating smaller vessels should avoid
navigating in these conditions. Mariners should pay close
attention to the marine forecast...and consider wind and sea
conditions in planning.
